Utensil Bouquets

I just saw this on an art site. Seems like a way to repurpose the sets of flatware that are "sentimental" but that people don't use.

What do you think of these?

Very creaative, but do you put it in the dishwasher once a week to get the dust off?

That's very creative and a great way to repurpose. I love art made out of things that might otherwise be thrown away Iike corks, broken dishes, metal scraps, etc.

They are very creative and really nice, but where would you put the finished product? I think I'd rather keep the silver place settings intact.

These are creative and I can see putting the bottom design on a kitchen wall. It would be a conversation piece for sure. I wonder if they are glued together. If not how do they stay in place?

The first thing I thought when I saw this was, "Oh--I sure would hate to have to dust those!" 😆

I do agree that the idea behind them is very neat. Especially if the items have a sentimental attachment.

I've seen similar artwork in antique shops around the country in past years. They are pretty impressive as you need quite the skill and imagination I would think. I actually have a cat made out of a fork and a spoon I bought on the west coast years ago. It's quite interesting and has a much smaller footprint than these.
