What do you think?

I love zebras so I kind of like that they decorated it and made it part of their Christmas decor. (I am assuming this is a faux zebra. I would never want a real stuffed zebra or hunted animal, animal skin, animal head, or other animal part in my home.)

I would prefer one wreath placed higher above the fireplace instead of 3. That fireplace looks very detailed & ornate. This part of the room is definitely dark. Would be interesting to see the rest of the room, but I couldn’t find that. Maybe some white candles & lights instead of all red would lighten & brighten things up a bit?

What's the difference between a faux and a stuffed zebra? I'm pretty sure that one isn't alive. I like them too but they don't scream Christmas to me.

I love zebras but the fireplace, etc. is a little too ornate with too much Christmas decorations for me.

I love it. The stripes on the zebra give the eye relief from all the fussiness. I recently saw decorated Christmas trees with largish stuffed dalmations wearing santa hats, resting under the tree. Same thing, it looked very good.

That has a magical, storybook quality, @wilma ! I can imagine a child as well as adults being just entranced by the whimsy and originality...

@Another new name Sue, I love it! I like giraffes as much as you like zebras. Love incorporating things I love into my decor. I think everyone should express themselves when decorating instead of copying a magazine. So much more fun.

Don't like the zebra, one wreath would suffice and some of the candles need to be ivory or green. Beautiful fireplace!

So festive! So different! Quite enchanting!

I would add some tall white pillar candles on the mantle in between the wreaths to contrast with the red and brown, but other than that your display is amazing!

And the zebra is quite adorable...

Must be fun to have a pet zebra in the house, esp. one that doesn't mind wreaths around the neck.

The vignette is an appealing one. The fireplace surround and mantel are beautiful and the garnland and wreaths are pretty, though I might have spaced them differently and stopped at one or two. The candles and boxes on the table are also lovely. For me, the zebra is a disconnect. I can live with it but could probably live more easily without it. I have no problem at all with them having elected a pretty all red scheme.

It is heavy decor but very well done and pleasing.

Likely, from the wall color this room would be a darker one.

I don't mind the zebra, and the photo is very pretty, however rather dark, I would lighten it up a bit with some nice light candles......

I like the zebra. I think it breaks up all the red. The decor gives me kind of a "castle feeling" so I think the zebra really fits in. The only thing different I might do is put white lights on the wreaths. There again, if I was in that room the fire might be all the contrast I needed. All in all, I like it!

This is different and well done....I would have 1 large wreath instead of 3 small.

I am not a red person but I really like it here.
