First off, I know I will be getting bashed about posting this. But just curious, who is ready for Christmas in July 2014 This year has really flown by and it will be here very soon!! I sure hope QVC gets some newer items this year!!

I won''t bash you! I, too, like Christmas in July and look forward to it each year. It gets the ball started for me so in the rush of things to do in the "crunch" time of Thanksgiving and the days leading up to Christmas I have usually almost finished shopping, and the Q helps me quite a bit with that.

Hallmark put out the dreambook online before Easter. I went to the book party and placed my ornament order a few weeks ago.

me too!! I have been thinking about it lately as it really is only another 2 months- it will be here before you know it!! I am so hoping valerie brings in more GB house!! I need a couple more!! I really look forward to that time on the Q!! Wonder what the dates will be this year??

of course there will be some debbie downers coming in (they just can't pass these threads by)!! They are the ones to sit and complain about the winter and want to rush the spring and summer in, but don't you dare talk about CIJ too early or Fall Decor in July!!!! Never did understand that......

Me too. Always look forward to that. More than Christmas in December!!! I enjoy watching the shows and seeing the decorations. Almost never watch shows getting closer to the holidays, they are usually full of cheap, China-made junk, IMO!!!

I'm absolutely looking forward to seeing the Christmas decor shows. I agree with other posters that most of the best holiday stuff is shown during CIJ.

I look forward to it each year. Valerie Parr Hill posted on her Facebook page that she will be on for CIJ 7/19 and 7/20 so I'm assuming that's when it will be this year.

I am the same. I look forward to seeing what new items are brought in for CIJ, but just cannot take the closer to Christmas shows because of the mostly pitiful, repetitive offerings.

CIJ is when I pick up whatever decorative pieces I want, and then later in the year I start buying my gifts. Helps with the budget to divide it up. I love CIJ and always look forward to it. This year I will only be window shopping. I have a Jim Shore Christmas piece that arrives next month, but otherwise I really think my willpower will be kicking in.

I almost never order any Christmas decor or other items from QVC. I've found that I can purchase similar or better quality items much cheaper locally. Plus I tend to use the same decorations for a number of years and don't necessarily add to them unless something breaks or a wreath looks tired, etc. Since I retired, I no longer put everything out at Christmas so am actually in the process of donating some items as part of downsizing - let someone else appreciate them.

funny thing my family and I were just talking about the program and hoping we don't order as much as we did last year. I have to say we did get some really nice items.

Me! I am hoping for new exciting items on the one hand, and on the other hand, hoping for items I am not interested in, which isn't much, lol. Storage is becoming a BIG issue now, since I went nuts last year.

I love CHRISTMAS! I'm excited for CIJ this year! I don't always buy, but it's fun to watch.
