    <description>&lt;P&gt;The recall had said to "keep your remote". It said that in the instructions. Maybe you didnt see that part?&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;So, guess im glad i kept mine.&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;I just sent mine back for the recall this past week. So how long did it take, about a month? They had told me 6 to 8 weeks! That's a long time! Its my daughters and she is missing it terribly. We have a couple of the other ones (without the heater) but those she doesnt like as well. Cause it still gets cold at night here and this worked perfectly for her bedroom!!&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;I really hope we dont have any more problems with them.&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;I really like the one they are showing today. Just wish they were not so expensive! But they really are very nice fans. (and the "hardly no cleaning" aspect, is the best! I hate taking apart box fans every 2 weeks to clean them all out. How much time wasted doing that job, yuck!)&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;Oh and i put her initials on the bottom of her fan, to make sure we got the same one back!&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt; Did they let you know it was coming back in like an email or something? (with a tracking number?) So that i know when to be here for it?&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Dyson Heater/Fan Returned Today</title>

      <description>Unfortunately, they didn't return the remote and there was a deep scratch/gouge that was not there when I sent it to them. I'm a little frustrated because now I have to pack it back up again and send it back. They are going to replace it, but I'm disappointed it was damaged, and I have to take further actions. I've only used it once since I used the portable fireplaces if I needed more heat during the winter, and mainly bought it for the cooling feature. Today, it's 90 degrees, and I don't have the expensive fan I paid for months ago. I'm not very happy with Dyson right now. I have 4 of their products, and we all know they are not the cheapest on the market. I guess I expected more from Dyson. Hopefully, no one else has a similar problem.</description>

      <description>Btw, this is referring to the Dyson recall of the bladeless heater/fan. I forgot to mention that in the first post. Has anyone else that had to return theirs received it back yet?</description>

      <description>I just got back mine today after waiting almost a month. Just like your case, I'm missing my remote control and my fan heater came back with 2 big cracks on the bottom. I' m so upset with Dyson about this recall thing. I don't think I ever want to purchase another Dyson product.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The Wolfgang Puck grill recall just asked that you send back the cord, (so it couldn't be used again) and then they sent a refund. That's what Dyson should've done.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I don't blame you guys for being upset with Dyson especially since these fans are expensive.  I think I would tell them to just keep it and give me a full refund.&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;Dollar signs are what these manufacturer's care about, that's all.&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I had two that where recalled. I received them back in a little over a month.  So far no problems.  I was very happy with this recall. Took my fans to UPS they packed them and Dyson paid for it. Received back from Dyson in a excellent box.&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;I found that Dyson  paying for the packaging and shipping was in very good faith.&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;Most companies make you package it yourself.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I just checked in here to see if anyone has heard from Dyson regarding the recall.  I figured it would take a while, but I'm glad to see some have had theirs returned.  I'm also glad I didn't send my remote!  Hope mine gets here in good shape before it gets hot.  BTW, has anyone checked the serial number to see if you actually get back the one you sent in?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>The e-mail instruction I received from Dyson did not mention anything about not returning the remote control. I still have that e-mail and I thoroughly checked that instruction to make sure that I didn't make the mistake. I was only instructed to drop it off at any UPS store. I just called the number they gave me if there is any problem. They just told me that Dyson is not responsible for returning the remote control and to call their Customer Service tomorrow. Why they give me the number to call (instead of the Customer Service's phone #) if they can not do anything to fix my problems (missing remote control and 2 huge cracks). I'm more upset after talking to them. Hopefully I get to talk to the CS person who is less rude and more helpful.</description>
