The ambiance of the room is quite nice. I am not a tan / brown color for primary color.

It looks very nice and relaxing, with just enough color to balance out all of the neutral browns and tans.

That room is too dark and depressing. The first thing to go would be the wall color. Those two wall hangings would be next.

That room needs a make over.

I really like it. There's a few things I'd tweak such as most of the pillows and the botanical prints.

I love the furnishings of this room. I like the rug a lot and the oriental touches. It's a beautiful room.

The right mixture of tan and brown that gives a very soothing feeling. The pops of color in artwork and throw pillows really makes a huge difference. It keeps the room from being bland.

Big fan of tans, but this one actually is too much. I think I would lighten the walls a little.

Just leave the key under the mat.

Hmmm, totally tonal... Some might even say monotonous... It's not unattractive and it is calming, but it's not for me. This room lost me with the prominent Asian influences. Good that they introduced at least a bit of color with the orange pillows and I like the window shades, but overall, I'll take a pass...

This room does nothing for me....the wall covering is too dark IMO and blends too much with the sofa and window shades. And those little pillows are all variations of each other. I guess I'm just not a fan of a brown room with a splash of orange.

I like the colors, but I don't care for the window treatments or the accessories. I also think I would introduce more light neutrals into the mix.

That color theme is not for me. I would not paint walls with such a color as shown in the picture. Not a fan.

The style of decor is not for me, but what I have come to love about the ivory/tan/taupe/sand/brown palate is that it is the most warm yet neutral backdrop for changing up decor.

It allows you to warm a room with earth tones for fall, or to decorate in any Christmas combinations, whether its traditional red and green, or the more trendy pastels or the coastal colors. It blends well with Americana for summer and any number of other color choices people might want to use seasonally or change over to with accent pieces and not have to re paint and reupholster the whole room. Not as stark as the white family of shades, but almost as versitile.
