Giant Pink Silverware! 😱

Every time I type a comment for this room I end up deleting it. I guess I’m not sure what to say. I might be able to understand the “kitschy” elements of giant pink silverware in a fun little cafe, or even in a kitchen or casual dining room in a house. It looks like it’s a print on white curtains. Definitely not a look for my home.

I would dare to say inappropriate and out of place in this setting. They would never fit into a house in which I reside. Too "cutesy".

I don't like the silverware element, nix those, and and I think it's a really adorable room. But, yes, seeing these in a cafe would be a cute touch.

@wilma Perhaps the kitchen utensil curtains would be a hit in a Denny's or some other homestyle restaurant. In this particular setting, a big NO from me.

I wouldn't copy the look. I think to make it work, change the wall color and rugs. Maybe something like a light grey. Don't need any more dominent color to compete with the pink silverwear.

Wow, that is really bad. Not really a fan of silverware as decor anyway, but this is over the top ugly. Thanks for the laugh!

Have to admit, I couldn't visualize what this was about, but geez! The room would have been ok if they'd just stuck with plain white curtains. I guess they just want the "fun" look?

The pink silverware is a definite NOPE

Gee, lose those ridiculous curtains and move the Bentwood rocker elsewhere and I could almost like this room.

I would not have the pink silverware number one and I would probably go for different furnishings. The room itself is nice.

No to the silverware even if it is in a kitchen or a dining room. Also No to the rest of the room. However, paint the accent wall and replace anything pink and I'm in.

I don't care for the colors used in that room at all. The bones of the room are good, the decorating -- specifically color-- is bad, IMO.

The curtains are just ridiculous.

VERY 50's inspired. I didn't like the designs of that period at all. Not when I grew up in it, or looked back.

Too "cute".
