Seriously though, the colors are neither comfortable nor comforting. I find them irritating.

The foot stool reminds me of Cousin It from the Adams Family show (perhaps with a haircut) Ha! It makes a good conversation piece. Someone put a lot of thought into this room. It's very unusual. I do like the bathroom.

I am not crazy about the colors, but it's a pretty room.

I did think it would be a shame to say to yourself, "Oh I can't read this book because the colors in the cover don't match my decor! 😂

It almost looks like a table runner that they affixed to the wall, and then hung the art on top of it.

It's not a look that I've seen before.

The pink looks closer to mauve on my screen. Either way, I'm not a fan of pink or mauve or lilac except those divine smelling flowers that grow on bushes in our yards.

The colors used here and in this combination are a bit depressing for my tastes, but I do like the room's architectural detail.

I thought I would like it based on the description but it reads very cold to me. Maybe the dark furniture is throwing me off.

It's not a male-friendly room IMHO. It reminds me of old Hollywood Glam in some ways even down to the reading material. The large windows and bathroom are nice.
