AMAZON'S OWN FURNITURE AND DECOR LINES

I didn't even realize until fairly recently, that Amazon had developed their own lines of furniture, decor etc.

The two I'm familiar with are 1)"Stone and Beam", (with some of their items shown in two images above-- love that bedding), and 2)"Rivet". They describe "Stone and Beam" as being mainly "rustic/traditional" (although it's eclectic-- you can detect a little contemporary, industrial and farmhouse as well, ha!)

Then their "Rivet" line is more strictly midcentury modern. Cool desert photography below. That charcoal feline cutie should definitely come with your fashionably stark desert prints!

I also like this sleek, mixed-media pendant light.

(Whoever gave these collections their names was clever!)

Gives you a bit of an idea. Seems like Amazon is interested in doing a sort of "Pottery Barn" vibe at their site. Anyway, fun to browse.

This was the other image I tried to post before, and couldn't, for some unknown, quirky computer reason. It's also a much tinier image than I wanted, sigh. But has that nice striped Stone and Beam bowl on the shelves...

Meh, I agree with others that the cat is the prettiest thing I see...

I might like the sofa in a different color, but most of the furniture and the pottery isn't really much to my liking... It's not that it has no appeal, just that it isn't my taste...

Still, interesting to know that Amazon continues to branch out... Pretty soon they'll own the world if they don't already...

@ScarletDove, your comment resonates with me. I'm more traditional too.

But I like too many looks! Have always loved Art Deco and midcentury, and so those accents are there in my house as well. Makes me susceptible to some contemporary. Oddly, more so as I get older...

I looked through the amazon site at the other Stone and Beam offerings, and loved several other items, @Oznell

The throws are very nice looking, as are some of the mirrors. It doesn't mean I'd buy them, but I like them.

The furniture isn't bad but I do like all of the pottery! There are some pretty pieces and I would display them with florals in them, harvest leaves also!!

The pottery is what snagged me too, @spiderw !
