Guaranteed for life (Ha!) So far I have had two of the snaps break off and I was trying to snap down to close. It will cost more to return so it is not worth it. No more Lock & Lock for me. I am sticking with OXO. OXO is really well made and I love the square containers for the refrigerator.

Years ago I had some Lock and Lock that broke. I got ahold of the company and they sent me a replacement. I don't think it was the exact same thing, but it was similar. It is worth a try.

@Katcat1 I've had also had the lid clips break on my older containers, but I thought it was because we put them in the dishwasher on a nearly daily basis. I never read that they were guaranteed for life. I just threw them out.

@Puppy Lips experience was the same as mine. They sent me new lids free , no arguments.
