How to return bed in box ?

Has anyone had to return one of QVC's bed in a box after you open it ? I just wondered what you would do after it is decompressed. I was thinking about trying one and hopefully i will like it , but beds are so individual so you never know.

This was in the TSV forum with regards to TSV Scott Living Mattress.

Although, I would call CS to confirm or ask in Customer Care forum for mods to answer before I would order!

I knew you wouldn't be able to put it back in original box , if i order i hope i like it , other wise i wouldn't bother in first place. Thanks for info.

@MW in Iowa If I heard correctly, there is a service you will call and they will come and pick it up. The Scott Bros. bed is an interesting concept with coils and memory foam. I bet it is comfortable. I own a memory foam and my mattress is not hot but some are. The Scott Bros. is NOT hot.

I was considering it also. Just wondering what to do with my old one. Donation places don’t except them any more,

I wonder if the only option is taking to a land fill. Mine is too old, no one would want it.

you can post it for free on craigslist, or even on facebook.

see them there all the time. never know just how "in need" someone might be.

Call the company and they will arrange to have someone come haul it away. It will be donated to shelters in the area. did this once with no porblem. Doesn't cost you anythng.

@dotp If you bought it from QVC either call Customer Service or email QVCSocialTeam@qvc.com and ask them.

@MW in Iowa ...From what I understand, they don't want it back and you cannot put it back in the box, as you already know.

They might want it donated but I'd email customer service/social team and get the correct answer.

Have u checked out ur local mattress stores? I only buy local - so I can actually lay on the mattress, try out other mattresses, ask the salesperson for advice (type of mattress and price). I also check Yelp for reviews on local stores and salespeople. If there are any problems or I'm not satisfied, they pick it up - and replace it. The price of mattresses are also negotiable - just ask for a discount!!!!

Mattress stores also have many sales around holiidays - the next one would be July 4th.

Over the last 19 years - I've purchased 8 mattresses from a local mattress store - and I've always got deliveries on time --- my old mattresses taken out -- and very reasonable prices for comfortable mattresses.

I can't imagine ordering any large items or mattresses on-line - especially a bed-in-a-box. I've also noticed that the prices for bed-in-a-box have gotten expensive.

@MW in Iowa You call QVC and they make arrangements to have someone pick it up. Make sure you talk to CS first before purchasing to confirm what I said.

Eee gad who would buy something so uniquely personal as a bed without trying it first?? Support your locals, You'll be helping your neighbors.
