“Unique” Chandeliers

Here are some really interesting chandeliers. 😱😮😳

I wouldn’t want them in my house. My comments are with each photo. What do you think?

Lots of bling. Looks very sci-fI or like a solar system model. It would be ok in a glitzy theater lobby or science museum.

I can see artistry in this one, but...it looks too much like a strange sea creature to me.

A really big NO on this one! Way too rustic for me.

This one made me laugh out loud. 🤣 Country meets crystal. Might work in the old TV show “The Beverly Hillbillies”.

The first one looks hugely out of proportion to the table.

The second one look like it was designed by https://www.chihuly.com/.

I agree the others are ok for a cabin in the woods.

They look like Museum or large Lobby chandeliers to me. I wouldn't like them in a house. The bottom 2 ..I wouldn't want to see them anywhere.

I do like the first one but not for my home. I could see it in a lobby or some other public space. Don't care for the other three but I could see the last two (especially the beam) in a country farmhouse that is so popular today

I've seen all these chandeliers except the last one. I've been shopping for a new chandelier for a long time now. I can't find anything I like. Well, I did find two. One was too small and it didn't come in a larger size and the other was discontinued.

i like the first two, to look at. but no, they wouldn't go in my house. the barrel one is hideous.

Although none would look right in my home, I appreciate the unique looks. The second one seems Chihuly inspired and the first one does look sci-fi. At first, I thought it looked like wedding bands. 😂

This thread reminds me of an article I read a few years ago about the home of BCBG owner Max Azria. His entry waterfall chandalier left quite an impression. I can only imagine what it would look like in person, but can't imagine what it would cost.

All of them are a big NO for me but I could take the wood beam with Antlers in a barn or cabin.

The chandelier, without the barrel, is exactly like the ones I have in my bathrooms. Its so very gorgeous!! Chandeliers have definitely grown on me.
