The doors are beautiful, love the style . However, I too feel there shouldn't be anything in front of them. They are much too lovely to have any part hidden.

They are fabulous, @lolakimono , and bring instant character, warmth and history to the spot. They're so tactile too-- I'd be reaching out from my desk at intervals just to touch them! Love old wood so much.

Those are beautiful! Of course, very different but beautiful, old barn doors are also repurposed and look lovely.

The doors are amazing and they work as a nice backdrop for this vignette, which is attractive overall. In honesty, though, the rest of the elements in this vignette don't begin to measure of to the doors.

All depends .. these particular doors I'm not a fan of. Others I am. Depends on the style, setting, etc.

I love the doors. They would look cool if you had a pitched ceiling to fill up that large expanse of wall space. You'd really have to secure it to the wall.

I agree with those that think the desk and chair need to be brought up to the beauty of the gorgeous doors.

Same here. Looks like we’re the minority.
