I like butcher block but for me, this is overkill because of the ceiling.

I agree @Love my grandkids the ceiling ruins it. So, it's a no for me.

I like it, but it's a tad too much wood.

I'd rather it be without the wood ceiling or do the kitchen with the wood ceiling, but not as much wood on the counters, etc. One or the other, but not both together.

An impressive space and I like it. I do agree with those who think maybe the ceiling pushed it a bit over the top. I'd like a little less wood.
