Lol, none of those. ( I hadn't known that ppl couldnt make out what it is. It's an anchor.)

No matter if you have sea legs or not, you can appreciate the deeper meaning of the anchor symbol - security, stability, and being grounded. It is a symbol demonstrating that a person is in tune with themselves and hold on to the values they believe in.

@lolakimono I normally dislike red doors but LOVE this entrance.

For some reason it strikes me as being very English. Can you tell me where it is? Thanks.

I seem to be the lone ranger on this one, but I don't love this entrance. A little too much going on in such a small area and not only does the door itself just seem odd but that shade of red doesn't work for me. The brick work, though, is beautiful.

I am not certain. I found it on Pinterest, and it was linked to a Flickr album but no other information.

Normally, I am not a red door person but this one is unique. I think the archway entrance,red brick, black wrought iron work, and greenery..... bring it all together somehow and it just works!

I do not like the neon red door, way too bright, and I could do with different color combinations on the tilework. The idea with the planter is quaint, love the gorgeous door with its glasswork and the brickwork is pure heaven, but the bright colored door diminishes the true beauty of the entry. Looks old, vintage European!

This looks like it might be the entrance to an "English basement" type of residence or to a partly below grade ground floor of a larger townhouse.

I like it, but the door is too bright for the surroundings. It needs toned down a bit for me.

I don't do red/green even at Christmas but it is a gorgeous entrance. Substituting the red with aubergine might do the trick for me. That would include the red tiles that are mixed in with the green and black ones.
