A few years ago I broke off the tip of one of my paring knives. No longer remember what stupid thing I tried to stab but that knife now resides on the floor of a kit hen cabinet where I can easily grab it to open packages.

Still works for that - not good for much else although it's certainly doing a good job of protecting my better knives.

I was mimicking the OP'S response to someone else's thread on the Beauty forum when they noticed there was no hair color boxes at the store she was shopping in.

Sometimes I just get sick of the snark and send it back to the original owner.

I put the fish knife from my cutlery set in the drawer of the kitchen table. I open all packages there. It's my work table and most comfortable for a child. The boys used to have breakfast and lunch there, as well as do their homework.
