No, but I love all of the cabinets throughout the kitchen and island. I don't have a lot of cabinet space and I am always envious when I see kitchens that have so much available space for storage.

Hmmmm. The only woman I can think of who often wore purple was Elizabeth Taylor, who wore all shades of it to enhance her violet eyes. But I don't really think of her as a cottagey kitchen person?

Wonderful, cozy and charming kitchen to work in. I do like purple, but the color of the island for some reason doesn't appeal, so that I would just repaint.

Oh, I missed the part that the woman was in a series. That lets out "La Liz". The only series' I watch are the retro ones!

!!!!!!!!!!!!! YES!!!!!! Violet Crawley wore purple. This kitchen was inspired by the kitchen in Downton Abbey. The woman who designed this kitchen had that kitchen in mind when she designed this one along with 16 others of all different styles. This is the only one of them I could see a "little" of the Downton Abbey kitchen. The others, imo, were really a stretch. She had the cabinets painted purple remembering how often Violet wore purple.
