I bought some eggs to go in my VPH wire apothecary deal and some different ones to go in a nice bowl on my kitchen counter. Really had fun.

Very pretty but I can't decorate with anything that involves Easter grass as I also have a kitty that would have it everywhere including her mouth. Easter grass would not be a good thing for kitty to swallow. My mom passed away last year and I inherited a piece that she used every Easter, it is a deep sided glass platter with a hole in the middle to attach the vase that goes with it. She would always put Easter grass on the platter with plastic eggs and candy and a lily in the vase. It was an Easter tradition and was the community Easter basket when we all came for Easter dinner. I remember her doing this when I was just a teen and am now in my mid 50's. I would like to use it in the same way on my dining room table but kitty would have it all over the place and I have pulled enough Christmas tinsel and Easter grass out of one of my long ago cats, more times than I care to remember, so no Easter grass allowed. For now this beautiful piece sits empty on top of my china cabinet, containing nothing but sweet memories.

I bought this year's bunnies and I just love their stuff. This year's large P1 white bunny was originally in my VPH wire apothecary jar but yesterday I got the b/w bunnies from Piperclassics and I switched them out. They are all so cute, it's hard to figure out where they all look best, but because I have large dogs who would not only play with the grass but sweep the items off any coffee table, the wire jar and my mantle are the safest bets. Thanks for letting me know.

I love things that hold special memories from our past. Should you decide to use it in the same fashion that your mom did, I found a type of "grass" that wouldn't hurt my kitties if they got into it. It is made of paper, and probably is not really made for Easter, but I like the look of it better than regular Easter grass. This is made of paper (different colors available) and is shredded like the grass and kind of accordion looking.

At any rate, you could try that, and see if the kitties will stay out of it.
