Saw this on the "Bay", but they're sold in a set of 6 and kinda pricey. Would like to duplicate with something I already have ( an old watering can and some burlap). Where could I find some stencils with this style of script and numbers? TIA

Country gal, I love the look of this galvanized can. I hope you can re-create it. I caved and ordered that large watering can from Wayfair that you posted about yesterday. I had some points there that made it very affordable. I will probably place it outside next to some ceramic pots that I fill with flowers for the summer. I sure hope summer is coming to Missouri for you!

Rosehill--I LOVE that watering can from Wayfair. The shape is so unique! I'm trying to get it out of my mind, but am still thinking about it. The sale ends soon, so I'll have to decide before long. I paid most of our first of the month bills today and some extra ones like life insurance that come quarterly and that about wiped out the checking acc't. I have to watch the budget closely since my DH semi-retired at the end of 2013. BUT, having said all that, I still really want that dang watering can!! I grow a lot of flowers every year (my passion) so I do REALLY need it. Justifying here.

I hope you like yours.

Justifying here.

I hope you like yours.

Country gal~ Oh, how I know how those bills are! And, life insurance policies aren't cheap! My DH retired about 4 years ago, and our finances are VERY different than they used to be, so I know where you are coming from.

That is interesting that your passion is flowers. Maybe sometime, you could tell us all about your flowers and flower gardens. I would love to refurbish our flower gardens this year. I really would love to, but don't know where to start. My dilemma is that year after year I buy assorted perennials & annuals, plant them, then end up not liking how they look. Then I dig out a perennial that doesn't meet my expectations, and buy more- then the same thing happens. The look that I am trying to achieve is what you may see if a magazine shot. I never know how to get to that end…. do you know what I mean? Do you struggle with that, or do you gardens look like photos? For the life of me, I can't figure it out.

My pots usually look pretty nice-I always buy Proven Winners. Usually mid summer though, they are way overgrown, and I struggle with just how much to prune and when. Do you have trouble with that as well?

Do you have any points built up with Wayfair from previous purchases? I have a little over $6, so that came off my total. My total only came to $16.67. And, for some reason, I wasn't charged shipping for the watering can. Usually, you have to purchase $45 before they do that. I love the shape of that watering can as well. It's just so different. Hope it wears well, being outside. It will only be out there for the spring and summer months though, I wouldn't leave it out all winter. Hope you can find a way to get one!
