🏡 STARS HOLLOW or MIDDLETON? 🏡

I love both Gilmore Girls and Good Witch and, like many others, adore the fictional towns in which each show is set. The towns become much like another character.

It's hard for me to pick a favorite but Good Witch's Middleton seems to be slightly ahead.

Do you all have a favorite?

Gilmore Girls: Stars Hollow (filmed at the Warner Brothers Studio Lot in Burbank, CA)

Good Witch: Middleton (filmed in Hamilton and Niagara-on-the-Lake, in Ontario, Canada)

I love both, so it's a close call , but I am going with Stars Hollow.

@GingerPeach If we're talking real places, I'd rather be in Ontario than Burbank... Given the choice between the fictional towns, however, and while it's a close call, the likely nod goes to Stars Hollow, where the people might be quirky but they aren't as flat out weird as they seem to be in Middleton... I do love Grey House though, and Middleton seems to have nice long fall seasons, which I also love...

Middleton looks lovely and I love all the town festivals and fall foliage, but it generally seems boring because Cassie makes everything work.

Stars Hollow feels more alive. It has quirky people and quirky festivals. I want to buy popcorn from Kirk at the movie theater. I want to eat whatever Sookie and Jackson are cooking. I want to see a dance recital at Miss Patty's and have Gypsy fix my car. I want to watch Luke yell at people in the diner and throw someone out for using a cell phone.

In general, I just love the places Amy Sherman-Palladino creates. Bunheads didn't last long enough for us to see much of Paradise outside of the dance school and the bar, but I bet it would have been lovely and fun. And while The Marvelous Mrs Maisel takes place in NYC, I love the houses, the department store, and the comedy clubs. My favorite was the adult summer camp they went to, like Kellerman's in Dirty Dancing. Do those resorts still exist today? I want to go to one!

It would be Middleton for me. That town has such a warm and comforting feeling for me.

I would love to live in a town exactly like that. I can imagine how many hours I would spend in Bell, Book, and Candle.

Huge fan of both shows. What a hard choice!

Must go with Stars Hollow, due to the thousands of times I have watched Gilmore Girls.

This show has gotten me through some real crappy times.

However, the map displayed in the Middleton police station shows it to be located about 50 miles from my house, lol.

i also enjoy the real real seasons in Middleton (outside shots filmed in Canada) as opposed to the former Warner Brothers California lot.

I must stop now because I could go on about this topic for a very long time.

I never watched Gilmore Girls but I know it was popular back in the day. I never heard of the other two shows. Those towns look like the towns all around me. They look like New England towns.

I think both shows caused many happy hours for a lot of people. I know I'm one of them.

I think one of the reasons I favor Middleton (aside from the witchy sparkle) is they film so often in fall, which is my favorite season. They mentioned that Chicago is a 3-hour drive from the fictional Middleton in the episode in which Cassie drove to visit her book-store-owning friend.

I think I could live happily in either place.

I love the overhead shots that usually are shown after commercial breaks.

I think of everyone doing their own thing, then meeting up at the Bell Book and Candle for a chat.

Fall is my favorite season also. Actually feeling like Fall here tonight.

Cassie's wardrobe..to die for, especially the movie wardrobe selection.

Now, Stars Hollow just seems like the perfect little small town where everyone is in your business, but only because they love you.

Love to watch either one of these gems before bedtime and think these happy thoughts.
