I don't hate this but would have to see more of the kitchen. That is enough turquoise in one kitchen.

My aunt had a kitchen like this in the fifties/sixties. All cabinets turquoise. It was the latest thing for her area at the time. Of course it wasn’t quite as sleek but for the time it was modern looking.

My Aunt had a turquoise kitchen in the 60's too..I loved it and wished we had it in our house. It was a lighter turquoise.

Early in my husband's Naval career, we were stationed in Denver CO and had to find an apartment that would let us have our Golden Retriever. We finally found a land lord who accepted our dog. She had two apartments available. Each of them were third floor walk ups and we could either have pink kitchen appliances or turquoise blue. We opted for the turquoise. This was the early '80's but I am pretty sure the appliances dated back to the '60's!

It is one of those pictures when I would prefer seeing the entire view of the room to determine if the color and scheme was one I liked in that room.

I don't care for it. As for the pull out range, it's nice, but I can see some little kid running around the corner smack into it.......ouch!!!

It's interesting if you like ultra modern and you really love-love-love turquoise, but it's not on my radar for a kitchen re-do.

Interesting thread as I didn't know turquoise was a kitchen color in the 80s. I do like it, except for the pull out stove. Just could see too much going wrong with that. And I'm a fan of the sterile look, especially in the kitchen.

And my aunt had a nice modern kitchen with all built ins and all the appliances were turquoise. The house was built in 1959. I loved it. Not that I had seen many kitchens other than our own in the late 50s but they were the first built ins and the first colored appliances I had seen.

Even though it's a cool idea, I don't know that I would ever get a pull out stove. I have a Dacor cooktop that is above the silverwear drawer. I like the cabinetry in the kitchen and I would also like to replace the Dacor cooktop. I can speak from experience that it is difficult to find a replacement that 'fits', regardless of brand.

Really like the turquoise color - but instead of the modern style, it would be better in contemporary I think. Needs some accents such as the cabinet door handles & another pop of color on the backsplash.
