I purchased these two foldable hampers from Amazon today for $30.00. They're about 26 inches tall and they fold flat when not in use.

I thought they would be very handy to store things when I need to tidy up really fast. For example, in the family room I can put away a blanket or pillow that I may have on the couch, dog toys, etc.

When not in use they fold flat and I can either put then on the side of the tall bookcase or under the couch.

I bought the shorter versions myself. they have a thick white cord that you can weave thru the gromments for handles--the bottom comes out and they fold. they look very nice too. Use them everywhere.
