I love the idea of an outdoor lounge area but would not have the decor this one has and also have comfortable chairs or chaise lounge within rather than the piece shown. I guess leaving it empty for me to decorate sums it up!!!!

What's the purpose of the pot.

It looks like it could be a fire pit. That wouldn't make sense though.

I don't think so. I really just fail to see the point. I'd question how comfortable it is and the area appears to have such limited usefulness

I always look at these elaborate outdoor areas with all the cushions and lanterns and stuff like that and I immediately think “what about the squirrels and birds and chipmunks and other animals”. How do you keep areas like this clean?

It needs individual lounge chairs. That circular seating looks uncomfortable to me. Other than that I like it.

I posted this comment yesterday on another thread showing a lovely outdoor setting.

For the record, I don't like this one, but....

That aside, I always laugh when I see these elaborate outdoor areas.

I have a very large, wrap-around porch on the front and side of my Victorian home. It is a beautiful porch with white railings.

We are in the woods, so unless I blow off the porch every other day, I do NOT want to sit out. It gathers leaves, bug bodies, pollen, dirt....

I have large rugs and padded chairs out there, and we DO use the area. However, unless you have someone keeping the area clean, it's just a mess. Not to mention when things get damp outside, all that fabric absorbs the dampness.

Maybe if you live in an arid climate with no bugs, it's great.

Otherwise, it's a part-time job keeping it clean!

I love outdoor living areas and use my covered patio a lot, but the one pictured is not appealing. The furniture is drab and looks uncomfortable plus the yard area beyond the deck is bare and ugly.

I'd pass on this one. I imagine I could crawl onto it and maybe settle in, but then I'd have to figure out how to get off the crazy thing! LOL! Kids would probably love it, but it looks a bit pricey to have it used for that purpose!
