If You Squeegee After Your Shower...

I have one of those huge walk-in showers with the glass doors that I squeegee after every shower to cut down on soap scum build up and general cleaning. Granted, it doesn't seem like a huge task, but when you're in a hurry it gets old. I have found the best squeegee for this and it cuts my time down by half. Four swipes on my doors and a few swipes on the walls and I'm done! It is the Claret Colossal squeegee on Amazon. It is 15" wide and fantastic!

Just looked it up on Amazon! We do squeegee our shower, so thanks for the info! Is yours without a handle? We like ours with handles. They hang on a suction cup. I see there is a smaller one (12") with a handle. I normally like to only buy things sold or fulfilled by Amazon. I see this comes from the company. I guess they are a reliable company to deal with?

Mine is without the handle. I thought I'd have trouble getting used to it, but I didn't. Seems stupid to get worked up about a darn squeegee, but it makes my life so much easier!

Thanks for the info. I agree! Wouldn't be without the squeegee!

We use one of the daily shower cleaner sprays. Just a quick mist of walls and doors after the last shower of the day prevents soap scum buildup and streaking, discourages mold and mildew, and keeps the shower looking sparkling-great. I won't promise that you'll never have to clean anything in your shower at all, but you surely won't have to do it much or often. This stuff is great!

after I am done showering and drying....I take that towel and wipe the walls and the shower curtain down.....keeps them looking great....though this is a pain in the rear having to do it daily....but so worth it not to have that scum and mold....then plop the towel in the laundry basket till wash day....

Since we remodeled & put in new porcelain tile we squeegee the shower every time we shower. After I squeegee we towel dry. It is a hassle but sure makes it easier to keep the shower clean. I have this cheapo squeegee from Wal-Mart for about $2 it's about 12" length.

Yes, I use that huge one too- with such hard water, I would hate to think what mine would look like if I wasn't so diligent -- but I used a tiny one for years....
