$5 Shipping

I was looking through some VPH items and noticed a lot of items have $5 shipping and continued looking and a lot of things have $5 shipping. Did anyone see anything posted about it? Good time to buy things!

I did notice that all the items in the Just Reduced Clearance have either $3.00 or $5.00 shipping.

I have to wonder though. Will items that are not on clearance that normally have $5.97 or $6.97 shipping now be $6.00 and $7.00 shipping?

I thought I was just sleepy, but many of the items on the Monday morning predawn Isaac show had $5 or free shipping. Maybe Q management is trying to slowly and quietly implement some new s&h practices. Not even counting other online and catalog retailers, their chief TV rivals (HSN and ShopHQ) are so far ahead of them in offering special s&h rates --or free, they have some catching up to do.

The price of the lit pedestals went up 64 cents, but the shipping is now $5 instead of $7.22. That's a net savings on that item. I wonder if QVC will still give 50% shipping savings on multiple quantities of the same item.

Marsha in California, Thank you for the heads up on the s&h changes.

I'd like to know if this is temporary. If not, it will also be interesting to see if the prices continue to creep up to the point that the s&h savings is negated. If anyone knows the scoop, according to QVC, please post!

It's a nice savings on some larger/heavier items I've noticed. A few of Valerie's ottomans and furniture-like pieces, and the mirror centerpiece are a few examples that are a real savings over the previous s&h.

Another 64 cents! How many times are these going to increase?!

As a test, I just added a brown and silver set of the pedestals to my cart, and the second set was 50% shipping.

The April 8 TSV spheres (pre-order) are also down to $5 s&h from $7.97.

If this truly is a limited time shipping promo, it would be beneficial to pre-order the TSV now, for those interested.

I just called Customer Service because I had placed several orders in the last few days. They credited the difference for shipping on all of my orders back to March 17. You will need your orders numbers so that they can look them up. The special shipping prices will last through March 31 only.

Hi, great if shipping goes down, except anyone that bought the TSV ottomans got ripped off. Even with them costing more now, with the reduced shipping they are less expensive. Everyone should return them.

Just call customer service and get a refund for the difference in the shipping price. No need to return them.

Thanks Marsha for the advice, however other posts have stated that they did not receive a refund when they complained. And QVC should just refund the difference to everyone that purchased them. Not hope that people don't find out about this and call for a refund.

I didn't see those posts where customer service refused a refund...sorry. All stores change the price on items all the time without notifying customers, but most will honor lower prices within a certain period, usually 7 to 30 days, if a customer brings the change to their attention. It is frustrating, though. I dread shopping at Macy's for that reason. I have to watch any item I buy there for the next couple of weeks to be sure that they don't offer it for less.
