Radha Beauty Essential Oil Diffuser 160ml Ultrasonic Cool Mist Aromatherapy from "A". It's $15.95. I have 2 of them & I love it

I also have one from Do Terra which is great, but cost quit a bit more.
I like NOW Essential Oils.

I really think that using the diffuser helps to keep us from getting sick. I don't know if it's just keeping moisture in the air, but it does seem to help so I run them all of the time.

i am new to essential oils and so far I have not used a diffuser. I buy my oils from Eden’s Garden, but there seem to be so many out there with mixed reviews. Do you love yours, and, if so, where did you get yours? Thank you in advance for all responses.

There are a lot of diffusers on the market. You can get some of the new models with bells and whistles; or you can stick with the diffusers which require the use of a flame tealight that heats the oil to permeate the fragrance through the air. I prefer the tealight heating the oil. Yankee Candle has some of the latter and you can buy a 100ct. bag of tealights at Bed Bath Beyond for less than $10. If you want one of the more fancy diffusers I have seen several models in store at Bed Bath Beyond. Wayfair and other home stores would also be somewhere to look for them. Of course you can probably find one at Amazon, but the selection may be such a large number that it's difficult to narrow the search. Amazon has an extensive selection of fragrance oils too. Crazy Candle is a brand I frequently buy from Amazon. Also, I find the oils from Yankee Candle to be quite good.

You are already paying for good essential oils, don't ruin them with heat. Also, many essential oils are flammable, so adding an open flame is risky.

Diffuser World has one called the Aroma Pro ($45) that's good. They have others too, but more expensive.

The electric kind are super easy to use, convenient and mine can be run intermittently so that if you want to slow the release of the diffusing so it's not so saturated. Auto shut off feature is the best. They run about six hours until needing a refill. About $20. I know I spent no more. Marshall's at Christmas had a slew of styles for every decor.

Since oils can get pricey, learn what the benefits are of each oil. Dr. Mercola has good info on his site that you can download or print for free.

There is an herbalist that I shop and they use a cool mist type diffuser. They often mix their own blends and I also recommend not heating them on direct flame or drops on a lightbulb.

I use a nebulizer type of diffuser. With that kind you don't dilute anything with water nor is there a need to clean anything after use. It uses far less oil than anything else I've tried, including the cool-mist ultrasonic diffusers, and that is important to me because some of my oils are pricey. Nebulizers are not inexpensive but you'll save money when using less oil.

I own the Aroma-Ace Diffuser...looks like this:

All you have to do is screw on your vials of oil onto the back side and remove and store the vials the way they come. No need to clean any part on the device. The knobs on the front adjusts output, interval-timing and operating timer...in other words it's fully adjustable and you can control your mist to fit your needs.

Reading all the replies before I commented. So many of you are not using a real essential oil. Mostly fragrance oils, some that claim to be an essential oil but truly are not. I wish we were able to post more in the forums. Essential oils can be used safely with pets, many oils can be used on pets, as well as internally as well. The only company I feel safe to use is Young Living. They are a 25 year old company. Grow all of the plants, distill in house and the only place you can go to their farm 365 days a year and be a part of the whole process. I have so much good information to share on why you should use this company over others but due to forum rules it can’t be posted here.

@Quse @Many EOs can be used safely in and on pets, even cats. There are some that should not be applied to an cat but can be safely diffused in a room with plenty of airflow and a place for the cat to leave the space if they do not like the scent. All issues with cats health and EOs can be traced back no a non pure EO made with solvents that the cats react to. We have a 17 year old cat who has been around EOs for years and loves his EO infused cat treats

Some essential oils like tea tree should never be applied directly to the skin. Far too harsh and needs to be mixed with a carrier oil.

I've mixed my own Thieves oil. I would also never use cinnamon bark or clove oil directly on the skin, either.
