Pretty neat for an office setting or hotel. A little modern for my taste in a home setting.

The left side is really scary; very high and completely open. Nothing to hang onto.

This is right up there with my fear of open heights and crossing suspension bridges ... I get woozy just looking at the pic.

@Vivian My sister has dogs who race up and down an open spiral staircase! Wood. Not even carpeted for traction!

I can appreciate it as a clean, Asisn-influenced, design marvel...but it's not for me !

Interesting for a commercial building, but not at all safe. The steps are curved and there are no railings. May be OK for sure footed younger folks, but not everyone is young.

Although, it might be an easy care faux wood, it looks like bare wood, even varnished light wood would be a hassle to keep clean and care for. How about we take a look after several years of use.

Surprised this design was approved by the building codes in that area.
