    <description>&lt;P&gt;I am confused about this heater recall.  I went to the Dyson website and entered my Serial Number and it was confirmed that my heater which was a QVC November 2013 TSV purchase was one of the recalled heaters.  A day later I received an email from Dyson and was told to fill out a form and take my defective heater to a UPS store, along with the form, and it would be returned to  Dyson and then repaired or replaced and sent back to me along with a new 2 year warranty.  Dyson would cover all shipping costs.  Since I do not live near a UPS Shipping Store, I told them I had my original box.  Could they email me a shipping label or arrange a UPS pick-up.  They said they were not set up to do that.&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;Having been a QVC customer for over 20 years and experiencing previous recalls with QVC items, they were always on the ball about such matters.  Today, I called QVC Customer Service and she said they knew nothing about this and that QVC Dyson Heaters were not involved.  I told her that Dyson said otherwise when I entered my Serial Number.  Dyson told me to unplug it as it could cause a fire hazard.  QVC Customer Service told me to call back within 72 hours to see if Corporate had any answer for me.  So, what gives? &lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;I don't see much action on this thread and would certainly hate to have anything unfortunate  happening because of the lack of knowledge. &lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;If anyone has anymore information, please keep this thread active.&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt; If you purchased the TSV  Dyson Heater in November their is a recall on them go to dyson/recall.com and check to see if it is affected mine was so I filled in the form and they will let me know what they are going to do. Just some information for some people who doesn't know, I didn't until my niece called me,&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Mine is affected.  They say a 'small number'.  I bet that number is in the 10's of thousands.  It doesn't say if we can still use it, but I assume that we should not.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

As stated in my previous post, Customer Service knows nothing about this and I have to wait perhaps at least 72 hours and then I have to call them back.       <description>&lt;P&gt;I purchased this TSV as well and mine is one of the impacted machines.  I just spoke with Dyson and they told me to send it back (as they did with others here).  I did send QVC a note to see if they will take these back and refund the money.  I would have thought QVC would also contact customers since it is a fire hazard issue.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Dyson is an outstanding company so I have no doubt that they will take care of people who have this item.&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;I don't have a Dyson heater, but I have a floor-standing fan and four vacuum cleaners.  I love all of these items.  I have had a few occasions to speak to peopel at Dyson and they are just the very best.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;1.  I have no issue with Dyson or questioning them as a good company except they are not making the return of this item very convenient for people who live in rural areas.&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;2.  Since this was an item sold through QVC and a TSV as well, there should be some contact with all customers who purchased this item.  They have more of a record of this purchase than Dyson would unless everyone who purchased had registered with Dyson.&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Dyson's customer service is among the best I've encountered.  I'm sure they will take care of all those customers affected.  I have a Dyson vacuum, and LOVE it, but would never, ever pay $300 for a fan/heater.  Just me.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Reference my previous post.  The issue is not Dyson taking care of the problem except for the inconvenience for the return for those living in rural areas not near a UPS Packaging Facility.&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;Also, their is the issue concerning QVC's responsibility in this matter.&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;This was not meant as any offense to Dyson as a company or their loyalty base.  Personally, I own Dyson products and am quite familiar with the reputation of the company.  The subject is the particular handling of this specific item and the problem attached to it.&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;Plus, to each his own, many would not pay the high price that some do for a  vacuum-- do not think we need to go their. Peoples personal opinions as to what they would not or would buy and how much they pay versus what other people would do is not the issue at hand. &lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I did call them back and told them I had found the original box and asked about a label and was told they did not want the original box and they said the best way was to go to UPS Store with the form I had filled out on line. Just repeated to me what I was told the first time.&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;Just thought QVC had made arrangements concerning this issue and was surprised that QVC denied that QVC heaters were a problem and that QVC did not know about the recall.&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;I can take it to UPS Store--just that it is inconvenient and will delay the fix of this issue.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I took mine to a UPS Store with the original box and they took it out and said that Dyson wanted it packed a certain way, so they recycled the original box and said it should be there by wed. I would not have known about it either if my niece didn't call me and tell me. I have not heard from QVC, but Dyson should be the one who takes care of this matter. But I think QVC should have known about it too,&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Contacted Dyson today and they are now ready to handle the return of heaters by sending out a box and arranging for a UPS pick-up as well as the other option of completing a form and taking the heater and form to a UPS store.&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;QVC Customer Service is still denying that US heaters are involved but will send my query to Corporate for review. Dyson says that they go by the serial number and that my QVC purchased heater is involved.&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;QVC offered the return of my heater and a full refund and no return shipping costs to be incurred by the customer.&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;Because Dyson products are so good, this is new territory for them obviously--never had to have any of their products recalled before.&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;I agree Dyson should take care of it and they are but QVC should let people know since they were the conduit for QVC purchases of this product.&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;A bigThank You to the originator of this Thread, gogirlfriend.&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt;</description>
