interesting space, but the older i got, the more scared i would be to climb that ladder.....it does not look that sturdy. maybe some type of pull down staircase would be better?

Feel like this is in one of those ‘unusual’ structured homes

out in the Southwest....round structure or a home built inside

the side of a mountain. Kinda cool.

besides the fact that i don't really like the room at all, i think that the ladder/library situation is one of the most awkward arrangements i have ever seen. i can't even imagine anyone actually using it.

Definitely not for me. I get vertigo just using my little step stool to get something from the top shelf of the kitchen cabinet.

Can you imagine what it must be like to get up there and dust all those books?

Those books would be untouched by human hands if I had to climb that ladder to get to them. Totally impractical.
