Very nice, pleasant space, especially the window & bench area. I like the stairway also. Space is very unique. Cozy. Would like to see a coffee bar there.

I love libraries in homes, I always have . I love the window seat, the shelves of books, the ceiling. On the negative side I do not care for the art work and instead would have a picture gallery on that wall. I also do not like the stairwell, if that is what it is, in the middle of the floor. It takes away from the space in the room although perhaps it was the only option.

@software I believe it's a railed opening looking down upon another room. It doesn't appear to be a staircase.

The library works except for lack of lighting for reading, and what is that blue thing on the wall on the right, a picture....if so, scrap it for it is a lousy color and out of place.....needs a few changes!

Yes, please! Even though the hole in the middle of the floor is odd (if you were sitting in that chair, you'd have a peripheral image of jail-style bars!), and I agree that the lighting needs work to be truly useful for a library, I'd definitely be happy to try to make this setup work.

I have always wanted a window like that. I like the creativity here on decorating that end of hall area. Very nice.

It's very nice but I've just never been a fan of libraries. My OCD comes out because, to me, they appear messy and cluttered.
