@lolakimono : Loved watching that. As someone who was passed up by the imagination department, this fascinates me.

I loved when she said she has no idea how she does it. She'll just see something and think it should be moved just a little. Really??

I just don't have that eye.

My sister does have that artist's eye but could not really rely on her because her tastes are so different from mine.

Thoroughly enjoyed that ...

Not bragging, but I would often get that same reaction from relatives and friends about my home ... a small, modest 1960s-style raised ranch.

After becoming an empty nester, I redecorated ... with the advice of a very savvy interior designer at Marshall Field's, my all-time favorite stand alone store. She guided me though buying the basics ... her advice: be willing to buy the best traditional pieces and design around those.

Worked like a charm for me ...

This would be my dream job. So many times I see people line their furniture along the walls and the room looks like a bowling alley. It is all I can do to not pull that furiture out and rearrange it. This video peaked my interest with the props. Pasta for decorating is an idea I never thought of. And I am so glad to see all the Faux Moss in items. Love that look and will until they run it in the ground like the manufacturers do.

i enjoyed the segment.

i found it interesting that they include items and situations when usually the realtors sweep away all personal and in use items.

ie, the opened cook book, jars of stuff appearing ready to use.... etc.

one comment from her was she threw lingerie over something. can't remember it exactly.
