Nah - i need a railing that will not move when I am trying to stop myself from falling down. I'm laughing as I type this because I can just visualize myself falling down these stairs grasping at the rope.

It looks cool, and kids and younger folks would like this....but those of us in the senior crowd usually need something a bit more stable! "Knot Up to Code"....love that!

Coastal/cottage looks are my favorites, however, I just don't think these knotted rails work practically in this case. They don't serve the purpose for what most people would use rails for.
