topic How to get wrinkles out of new area rug? in Home

Today, I received a 4x6 area rug that I ordered online, sort of a faux Persian look, but it's synthetic fibers. It was shipped rolled up of course, and when I unrolled it, there were indentions/rolls - i.e., it doesn't lay flat. Does anyone have any suggestions for getting it to lay completely flat? Will the rolls eventually flatten out? Perhaps I can place it between my mattress and box springs, and sleep on it for a few nights, but was looking for an easier way. Thanks for any ideas!
