Anyone Else NOT Putting Spring Home Decor Up Yet?

I don't usually do much spring stuff, but I've not done ANYTHING this year except one 12" foil-covered bunny (like VPH's) that I got for a few bucks at the thrift shop 2 wks ago.

No incentive .... snow, zero degrees, yukky muddy weather when it's NOT blustery and zero degrees.

How about you???

I don't do any real spring decor except a couple of small vignettes in the kitchen, but still haven't done that because winter just won't end. I have put away all winter things, except the front porch and just waiting for a warm day to get out there.

I'm in the midst of my spring cleaning, so I guess I need to get out the one Easter display I do as well.

I don't decorate for spring, but I was considering getting a colorful wreath for the front door. Still too much snow out there to think about it, maybe next month.

Still winter here too. Had a 50 degree day, but snow tonight. Just today I am getting out some green St. Pat day decorations. Just have to see a little bit of green to fool me into thinking spring will come.....someday.

I put up a wooden shamrock outside next to my door, and a Celtic cross on the inside of the door. After St. Patty's, I'll switch the outside shamrock to a bunny, and the cross to an Easter themed wreath. That's about it.

I changed the wreath on the front door and my bedroom, but I haven't changed out any of the other decor in the house. I like to wait until April to do that because the spring/summer things stay out until October except for a few Easter themed items that will be out only during April this year.

It is still freezing here in Northern Virginia, but I received a Plow and Hearth catalog today and it is full of delicious outside décor. I don't know how I will be able to resist!

I DO decorate for spring, and I enjoy doing it. But with the weather we've been having, I still have most of my winter decorations up (snowmen and such). There is snow on the ground, and it's just too cold! I haven't worn regular shoes in a long time; I'm living in boots of every kind. Can't wait to wear my Birks and not have to wear socks! ***BRR**

I have a flag to hang outside but the HOA only allows that for 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after the holiday so I have to wait. I also have a St. Pattys day one to hang up first.We are very limited what we can do outside or on windows or doors by an absolutely ridiculous HOA. No one can put more than 2 decorations out for any event.

Can't get motivated because of the bitter cold hanging on in Ohio. Finally put away all of my snowman stuff because I couldn't stand to look at it any longer. Hopefully this weekend it will start to warm up.

I don't really decorate for spring/summer. My house usually stays "as is" after winter is over.

However, I had a few lingering snowmen out that I put away on March 1st. I put out a pretty lighthouse and stained glass butterfly tealight holder in their place. With the exception of maybe a spring/summer wreath on the door, that's about all I'll do.

I don't put up any. I let the sun shine in, take the dog for a walk and go out on the deck. The sun does wonders me after a long winter like this one.
