My dear son washed four pair of EXPENSIVE work pants with a chapstick in a pocket, and naturally there are grease stains all over the pants. We have tried Stanley Degreaser. Can anyone suggest anything else that might work?

Lestoil, applied with a toothbrush. I used this once when I washed (and dried) a tube of lipstick and a pot of lipgloss with a load of denim.

Did you already dry them? I've done that and, if I haven't dried the items, sometimes it comes out if I just wash it again.

I wash most of my clothes in cold water and have had chapsticks come out in tact - wet, but not melted and no grease stains left behind. Socks, underwear, towels and bedding are the only things I was in hot or warm water.
