I like the space inlcuding the large cantilever window, though I'd want some way to cover it. The decor, such as it is, and the furniture, including just about everything, needs to be rethought.

That could be really annoying in a bedroom. It could cause damage in an area with intense light, like at higher altitudes. It would fade the color in wood floors and furniture, would fade and could rot textiles. Pretty but often impractical.

I'm not sure I would sleep there though. That's a little too much sunlight for me. LOL

I love it, I would put a screen shade. I could still look out but no one could look in unless the lights were on.

If this room is located on the bottom floor I’d need a window covering since it’s a bedroom.

I sleep with night lights and a lamp on in the den so the skylight probably wouldn’t bother me.

Love the color of the wood.

Too much light coming in for me. It’s a beautiful room but I could never sleep there. I did darkness.

I like it, however, I too would need a cover on the window. And, as someone mentioned, the sun could do some damage to furniture & textiles.

Wonderful. Think how dark and enclosed it would feel were the skylight not there.

On a moonlit night, it would be magical.

I like it. I would have that window made of smart glass where it can be tinted at the touch of a button or made to give total privacy.

Looks awesome, just do not know how practical it is ...

With the right light exposure and some decent light filtering tree branches ... and a good hose nozzle...

Like the wood color and the beam work.

I am not a fan of skylights. They get mold and moss and water spots on them, get cloudy and are too difficult to keep clean.

My DH already has to climb on the roof at least once a month to clean the skylight. I also have a shade over it and never open it unless it has just been cleaned.

I absolutely hate, hate, hate dirty windows.
