A little blue goes a long way in a living room. I like the use of blue as an accent color here.

I like the second picture...use if color appeals to me.

Since both pictures pertain to one room, I guess I,d need to either like both orvnot.

So, the picture with the brick wall and aluminum window framing doesn't appeal to me. It looks like a re-do that is not quite done.

Blue if one of the most calming colors in the spectrum. You probably already know, but for those that do not, it is used in hospitals, Hospice, Banks etc. as a way to keep people calm and at ease.

When I was single, I had a lot of blue in my home. Now I only have it in a guest room because DH isn't a fan of blue.

I love the room especially the wood storage area. Great look.

i think why the room appeals to me is because the sofas are solid neautral and accents in blues.
