WOW!!! Who doesn't love a black/red/white combo in anything!!!! This space is gorgeous! Has 'ME' written all over it. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the paisley ceiling! I could so do this although I'm not sure my DH would go for it. And of course, what does the rest of this place look like? I'd love to see it all. Betting it leans a lot towards what many go for these days - mid century modern.

Not for me, but it really grabs your interest. Also, the designer might have done something to highlight the buffet niche (in addition to the painting). I didn’t realize it was a niche until I looked at it very closely. Extending the ceiling wallpaper would be overkill, but maybe stencil some part of the wallpaper pattern along the inner border of the niche? I’m hardly artistic, but I think they missed an opportunity there.

I am also in love with the ceiling treatment.Having recently removed wallpaper I would never put it on a ceiling unless I could afford to hire someone to remove it though...omg that is a tedious job.

Not a fan of red so I would like much softer looking pretty paintings with off white, greens and blues, and the red chair changed out to gray, pale blue, or pale sage.

I think the ceiling is beautiful. Love the color combination. I would choose a lighter floor color. I think the floor is pretty but I like a lighter floor with dark walls.

This is a gorgeous room, but not one I could live with. I want light and bright, no dark colors.

A glamourous and attractive room. I like many of the elements, including the furniture. I can't, however, get down with black walls. I know some decorators think it's chic, but they're not for me. Perhaps one accent wall, if you must... but not an entire room painted black, dark grey, or so on... I could even like the paisley papered cieling, but the lamps definitely have to go as does that dreadful large piece of, uh, 'art'. Something else could be found to pick up the need for red over the sideboard.

I like the ceiling. Overall I think its a nice room - I would change the table/chairs.

Although done in my college colors, I don't like anything about it. Well, the flowers on the table are pretty. Otherwise, a big no from me.

I love the black, red and white combination. I had it in my first apartment then used it in my den when we bought our home. The ceiling is gorgeous.
