So I've been running a few air purifiers over the summer since my husband has allergies. They seemed to help. But I was surprised that they blew out so much cold air. Now that it's colder I haven't been running them. But I feel like we need them more then ever now since we don't have the windows open. Are there air purifiers out there that don't give off cold air or do I just have to deal with it?

Added info - Rabbit Unit known as BIOGS 2.0

They won international awards for their new design 3 years ago. Replacement filters about $50 each x 2 and they ship directly to your address. No hunting for the new filters which can be vacuumed couple times year before purchasing new.

They sure took my doggy smell away - when I had a dog. Good Luck

Ok thanks. I'll check in to those. The ones I have weren't cheap. About 250.00 I think. And they worked fine. But there wasn't an option for no air.

We all have our tolerance for 'noise'. For me...the Rabbit is TOO quiet in my bedroom. I need a little cricket noise or something. LOL I love that I have NO dust particles floating in front of the kitchen window that gets direct sunshine.

I swear by Rabbit........................when I had the dog I would rev up the fan speed so machine could turn the air over (freshen) while I was out shopping.

Dyson make pure junk these days, get a real one and dont pay for their over priced designs. I like my Winnex and it kills any mold or bacteria.

I bought a Holmes black tower air cleaner (about 30" high) at Target for $50. It blows air out the back. In summer I turn it around and have an "air cleaner fan" blowing at me. Good purchase.
