Don't you think that shower is kinda small for a house that size? maybe its a guest bath, and what, no door? I thought maybe a pocket door nest to shower, but it can't be. But I love it. I'd move in tomorrow. looks like maybe on the coast of SC or GA.

I love the outside of the house it is stunning!! The bathroom is very different and I like it but I would have wanted a much larger shower and I think wood vanities would have made it look much richer.

The outside is stunning and from looking at the rear view of the house it does not look that big. The bathroom is different...not my first choice but there are some features like about the shower I like.

The era after Victorian was Arts and Crafts known for Mission furniture. Mission was still somewhat popular when I was young and a number of houses were built with that influence and also "Ranchers", ranch houses as they were called as we went forward. Ranch houses didn't waste any space and are well loved to this day. Frank Lloyd Right came partually into the modern and right behind this cycle.

I never cared for Arts and Crafts, Mission furniture, or ranch houses from the time I was little, little.

I much prefer the romance of true Victorian without the Arts and Crafts influences.

I just got to see the rest of the house. (I can't see pictures after signing in without copying and pasting because of our antivirus).

When the outside and inside of a home doesn't have the comfortable "flow" of a similar style, it is said to be "out of balance". This house is out of balance as is a prom gown and tennis shoes.

I so agree about the out of balance.

The inside is kind of shocking after seeing the outside (which I like except for the brick bottom and stairs).

I always love Victorian houses but do not like the inside at all, but I don't like most modern-too much wood, glass, sharp, cold even sterile lines and I would be afraid the chimney would fall on me while in the shower! I don't know what they were thinking. Eventually wouldn't the moisture weaken it all?!

@on the bayThe builders would have installed fans to remove the moisture in the bath areas.

I find the sharp edges too severe for the romance of Victorian, which was actually the taste of Queen Victoria, although there were several "levels" of Victorian through that time.

If you saw "Legends Of The Fall, when Julia was in the Victorian house living in town, we were moving out of Victorian.

The outside (front view) is sobeautiful, but the interior leaves me cold! I don't like an old Victorian home with nothing but furnishings from that period, but this home's interior is also way off base for me. The exterior and the interior seem to be polar opposites. I guess to each her/his own, but I would have filled this home with classic, yet comfortable furnishings and forget about the modernst look. It just doesn't fit.
