I have a motion sensor light out on the garage that automatically comes on as you walk by. The other night both bulbs started flickering (like a strobe light). I have no idea why they would be doing this and wanted to check on here to see if anyone would know. I'm going to try and find the manuals, if I can, for the fixture to see what brand it is and if there's a contact number (my Mom got these years ago, so I don't really know anything about them). Hope it's something simple because I really don't want to have to call an electrician out to replace it.

@qualityshopper, if you can find the brand, often manuals are kept online. You can google the brand name and manual for assistance. Good luck. LM

If the bulbs can be removed then take them out and clean the contacts and make sure to put them back in securely, not loose.

I live in Arizona so its hot and sunny. The sensor part of my outdoor coachlights "fried" a couple of years ago. The sun heated and cracked the motion part. Now one comes on (and stays on) at dusk. The other one never goes off. Until they completely die, I am not willing to replace. When I do, though, I will contact my handyman not an expensive electrician. Check to see if yours are in direct sunlight all day and google the brand.
