Need Suggestions

I have just purchased the comforter set shown below. I'm looking for suggestions as to what color I should paint the walls in my bedroom. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. TIA

@Boehm Collector I would go with a very pale gray or very pale light blue. Benjamin Moore has a pale gray called China White that would be excellent. I am leaning toward the gray. Good luck.

Thanks @Katcat1 ..... I am thinking along the same lines. WOuld use Benjamin Moore regardless of the color.

Hi @OKPrincess .. no that is not my bedroom (wish it was!). It's a photo from the Touch of Class website.

Try some darker shades of gray, too. Don't be afraid to go dark/ rich/ deep with a neutral wall in the bedroom. It would really make your new blue comforter set pop more than a white/ pastel..

I love the colors....I think a pale blue or pale gray or even white would be pretty for the walls. So many choices, whatever you decide on will look great!!

I really like this set and the color is beautiful. I would also go with grey on the walls. Either dark or light would work. In any case, I am sure it will be lovely.

@Boehm Collector What a gorgeous, elegant bedding set. I agree with gravitating toward the gray palette. Depends on how you want the room to feel. A deep blue might make the room feel too dark and maybe small.

Enjoy the luxurious feeling when you fall asleep.

ETA: I wouldn't choose white.

@Boehm Collector I love the set! I do not like the curtains behind it. I'd go with a pale off white to match the background of the comforter set. The set has a lot of pattern and that would help it stand out. I wouldn't go with gray or blue, it needs a little warming up with an ivory or cream wall color.

I'd do a rug with some blue in it, and a nice picture or mirror over the bed. I'd keep it simple and uncluttered and let this beautiful blue pattern stand out on its own! Maybe some blue and white accents like a vase or small bowl on the nightstand?

Edited to change "pale off what" to "pale off white." You think? LOL!!!

@Boehm Collector I would go with a white/off white depending on which color is in the comforter and what color your floors are. If your floors are dark, I would go light on the walls.

@aroc3435, I would consider yellow. I have a gorgeous yellow downstairs in my family room, spare bedroom, en-suite and office. It is delightful especially in winter. I have a blue sofa/love seat in the family room with a dark brown area rug with perfect blue highlights in it. I love that family room. I have a wood stove and that is where I do my quilting in winter. The color gives the rooms a light spacious feel. LM

Personally, I like a creamy ivory but, go on Pinterest and see what the designers suggest.

I was going to suggest a yellow or goldish tones. It's rather common for people who do the blue and white color scheme.

I never think of using that color anymore. I guess because when you look at "decorator" pictures and magazine articles they don't seem to feature it much.

I know it's currently "in" but I'd never paint residential walls gray. It's the color they paint prisions and animal shelters. In other words, it's institutional.
