This popped up on my Pinterest feed and it reminded me of you. This is probably not what your house looks like, but I think it was the flamingo that called to me.

I was referring to @homedecor1 's avatar, which I thought was a flamingo. I had to go back and check this morning, to make sure I was remembering which poster had that avatar.

Thank you! Yes, I do like flamingos for one reason only --

When I was visiting in NJ went to my gd soccer game (age 5 at the time) she ran up and hugged a lady and then realized it was not ME!

Right out of the mouth of babes she said "Daddy that's not Grandmom" (embarrased) -- my son replied "No Flamingo Grandmom is over here!! From that day forward when he will call me and if they leave a message they say "We're looking for Flamingo Grandmom!"

Now, instead of roosters (my 1st collecting obsession) my friends and family are sending me Flamingos ... every shape, every style, etc....they are kinda cute!!!

I did buy one really nice pic for my bathroom remodel that is a large print with a single flamingo in Bealls. They have the nicest coastal things!

I would like to put it into an oval white frame but don't know if Hobby Lobby does shapes. If they don't then I'll have it matted in a hot pink oval and white rectangular frame.

@lolakimono - I think her boyfriend would kill me!

They live together, in his house and as good as he was about making sure her things were incorporated into the decor and making it "theirs" when she moved in, I think he would draw the line if I turned the bathroom into the flamingo room, lol.

I know it's the trend right now, but I just can't get into gray walls. In most pictures I've seen, the rooms just seem cold to me. I like warm tones. I'd have to pass on the picture too.
