It practically wanted to be unfolded and set up - so easy.

I'm very pleased with this purchase. And glad I got taupe instead of cream.

@GingerPeach It is lovely! You have excellent taste! I have many of the one's that are squares!

In fact just looking around I see three of them in the TV room! Ha! I sent my daughter a bunch of them and she puts them together to make a kind of coffee table.

They're in my living room and bedroom. I don't know why, but I never got the longer one. The Q has sold them for a long time. I have only brown and black one's.

They are sturdy and the one's I have look like leather but I'm sure (long time ago) the are all fake (I'm mean faux).

Mine just arrived about an hour ago. I got two of the large in brown. Really like them, very sturdy and the top has nice padding. And yes, super easy to set up. It took one of my kitty's about ten second's to jump inside one of them.

I remember that there was a time when the Q offered 2 of the cubes or one of the bench one's like yours.

That's probably how I ended up with so many of them. I can see two that are still folded up in the package.

They are so handy to set things on.

That was what the tsv was ,two cubes,or 1 bench ,thought about those for granddaughters.

Yes, that is what I ordered. These are fabric (not faux leather), and were the TSV on August 7. You could choose either the 30" bench or the two square ottomans.

That's why I titled the thread "The TSV upholstered bench."

Maybe you weren't watching that day.

I got the cream for my bedroom and am very pleased. They are attractive and made well. I put them in my bedroom about 10 minutes ago.

@GingerPeach If you know, what is the difference between these and Valerie's? I have four of Valerie's benches, another I bought for DD, and one of the squares for myself, the latter in the faux leather, the benches are faux suede.

@Annabellethecat66 Yes, I bought the faux leather square to set my feet on, but instead I set a ton of cookbooks on it, no room for feet, lol.

These are the exact same size as Valerie's in both the ottomans and the benches. I have some of Valerie's too.

The differences

The FHE that were the TSV are fabric. The Valerie's as you know are faux leather.

The set up and break down about the same. Same size for storage. The FHE ones don't have a seam along the sides of the smaller ottomans because of the way you use the zipper on the bottom to set them up (watch the video of that sounds confusing lol).

The weight limits for sitting may be different between the two, but I can say we sit on both with the same results (VPH 250 lb limit) (FHE 200 lb limit).

Honestly the VPH might be slightly more 'beefy' if that makes sense, but for me not nearly enough for the huge price difference.

And it's all personal taste, but I got very tired of my green VPH faux leather ones in short order. I was never thrilled with the color or the faux leather, but it was all I was seeing several years ago. I much prefer these fabric ones.

I do have some of the VPH faux leather ones in the chestnut, and I still like those pretty well, but overall, I'm not crazy about the VPH colors, especially since these fabric ones came out.

I have the FHE faux leather type in several colors as well, and I always thought they looked a little more high end than Valerie's version as well.

If you get the FHE, I think you will see that the Valerie ones are a bit stronger/thicker/ more substantial, but not enough for me to choose them again based on the current style and prices offered.

I wrote a long review that I'm not sure has published yet.

I will caution others, that the taupe are darker in my home, than the ones on the set looked. I think they actually look richer than on air, but they don't match the upholstered furniture I bought them for as closely as I had planned. It isn't a big deal, because they coordinate with the carpeting in that room to a tee.

I've had this brand before in their faux leather and I loved them, but this is such a rich and high end look for the money, I can't believe what the price was.

I keep hoping they have these in stock when they have a free shipping day again, and I'm going to pick up several more. I got two benches and a set of the ottomans. I will consider getting the lighter ones to see if they match that furniture any closer and probably another complete set of this taupe too. Either color I can use in most all rooms in my home.

Not to beat a dead horse, but these are what I have in my family room to store my Christmas decor so it is right in the room where needed when it comes time to decorate and undecorate, there is no up and down steps for most of the decorations. Have one in the dining room too with it's decor as well.

I even have these stacked in one of the bedroom closet with things stored in them. Keeps things neat, clean and organized and when you open the closet it looks so much better than plastic tubs.

Couldn't be happier with this purchase. I was glad to see they hadn't changed the size or the quality of the materials compared to the ones I got several years ago.

Highly recommend these.

@Mominohio Thank you. I am not planning on buying them as I have so many of Valeries, which I love, but was always curious as to the difference, two light beige for the bedroom, two called red, but are deep red rose/pink, can't think of the name of the color, beautiful, and the square in the kitchen is red, what other color would it be, lol, love red. I sent a navy blue bench back to school with DD, assume she has it packed to the brim with "stuff." DD

Those Kano boxes? Yeah, I have like a million of those too! LOL

Our closets are tiny here and you really have to be creative to have all you want to keep stored away. The master bedroom even only has hang rod for about 6 to 8 foot of clothing, and the closet is very narrow, not even close to three feet deep. All three bedroom closets are small like that. And even though there is a linen closet and small coat closet in the upstairs hallway, and a coat closet in the living room, again, they aren't anything in size compared to today's standards.

I'd be lost without both these and the Kano boxes. The Kano have made my life so much easier to see, store and access what I have in the closets.
