I couldn't take falling over that canister any longer. monday i fell backwards 2x's. was not hurt, just scared me to pieces.

I ordered from Amazon a plush carpet upright that i had sent in 2 day ship.

It is a kenmore upright ultra crossover. it is heavy upright, but no height adjustment. it works wonderfully. cleaned up the mess with the styrofoam packing. no problem moving it on the new plush carpet. real pleased.

dh is going to bring back that sears canister tonight. did not like it.

Oh no Viva! That's awful and dangerous. You are definitely better off with the upright.

I have always had a canister and have never fallen over it, but have quite a few fights with it. Pulling and kicking happens quite often!

It's always better to use what is more comfortable for you. That's good that your husband can go and do the exchange.

I have a top-of-the-line Sears canister and I got tired of dragging it around. It does a fabulous job. I will probably sell it if my DD doesn't want it.

I love my upright, never thought I would.
