Curtains...Vermont Country Store

I received a catalog from Vermont Country Store...never purchased from them in the past...but there is a section of curtains in the catalog...maybe they have always carried curtains, I don't know but the layout and photos remind me of Country Curtains that recently went out of business.

Those that liked Country Curtains might enjoy looking at their online catalog.

That makes sense. Country Curtains not only sold curtains via catalog but in their stores. I know I bought curtains from Country Curtains.

I will definitely look at Vermont Country Store to see what they have now. That is if I can see the catalog before my husband puts it in the recyling bin.

Thank you for the suggestion. I loved Country .Curtains, and stocked up on some of my favorites before they were out of business for Good. I have shopped the Vermont Country Store, but never for Curtains, after a brief look I like what I see. This is what I like the best about this board, the good suggestions and wilingness to share what they have discovered. Thanks again. 🌺

In the last catalog I received from Country Curtains, it was explained that their curtains would now be sold by Vermont Country Store. I wasn’t sure if that meant the Country Store was just selling them for the family or if they had bought out the company.

I have several sets of those curtains in our house, and I remember when their catalog was in black and white in a small booklet. That was back in the late 60s.

Here in a town over from me ,newington n.h country curtains had a store ,in a old farmhouse it was always busy such nice things ,sad they closed.

I just got a catalog from them too, despite having never ordered from them. I was happy to see it, as I'd bought a lot of things from Country Curtains over the years, and Vermont Country Store looks very similar. I wonder if Country Curtains sold their mailing list to Vermont.

I requested a catalog from what I thought was Country Curtains. It says Sturbridge Yankee Workshop on the front and there are very few curtains shown. I'm checking Vermont Country Store, from whom I have been buying for years. This is sort of a relief, I kept stalling on the order. This board has helped me out again.

Yes!...I loved Country Curtains also and most of my curtains and panels are from them...wonderful quality and selection...also lovely tiebacks and accent pieces for the home...I was so surprised and upset when they closed.

Well, just about a month ago, I was looking for some new curtains for our bay window in our dining area and, for some reason, thought to check online with Vermont Country Store...Lo and behold, I found a lovely selection so very similar to Country Curtains...as a matter of fact, they looked exactly like ones I had seen there...So I ended up ordering four of the Hathaway Panels for our bay window and they are beautiful...just absolutely perfect in our bay window!

Interesting that I should see your thread at this time and it is good for all Country Curtain fans to know that they can now get the same from Vermont Country Store!
