It's probably similar to Romba's. Can you believe I own 2 of those? I used to have a cat who when I came home I couldn't find the Romba, then one day I saw him jump down from the window seat to the floor near where I kept the Romba charging and he turned it on and off it went!

All of these things work best if you have wooden floors. My Romba works OK on rugs but it doesn't get deep into the carpeting like a regular upright vacuum would.

The EyeVac doesn't move. You can stick it over in a corner and sweep into it. It only comes on when it "sees" the debris. So I would never use it on carpet. Half my home is either tile or vinyl. If it works, it will be awesome for me.

Can't do Roomba. The K-9 sometimes has an accident. Don't want it smeared all over the house!

Which Eye-Vac did you get? I noticed on BBB, there are 4 versions at various prices. The one I was checking out was this one...

I have hardwood floors plus 1 cat. I don't dustpan sweep since I have a Shark Rocket. But, this little item would be great instead of using the vac every day.

My next door neighbor has a Romba plus a coon cat.

She loves it as do her cat.

I have a very agressive cat. So I tested my neighbor's Romba at my place. That test did not do well w/my cat.

I had to return the Romba before my crazy cat destroyed it and/or dropped dead from a stroke.

Strange because my cat does not mind the vac.

I received my EyeVac on Wednesday, EDD was next Monday, came UPS, thank you QVC!!

I love it. It's loud like a vacuum but it's only on for 7 seconds at a time.

I will more likely sweep every day.

I used to sweep & mop every day but have had some health problems, causing me to slow down a bit.

EyeVac Home is so amazing! I have 2 boys and they are always tracking things in. The deal today is really good. Its nice because the EyeVac can literally be used with any broom. You do not have to use the one thats on air today.... although it is a great deal at a great price!

This vac will be great if you have wood or tile floors throughout your home. I am in an apt. Tile floors in kitchen and bath only so I am not interested. I will use my portable Shark.

My friend just moved into a house with nothing but hard floors. I told her about this vac and she was thrilled to see something like this so she had me order one for her. She will be thrilled! Lots of great reviews for it.

For me, this would just be something else to trip over, another thing on the floor that is in the way.

My only hard floor area is the kitchen and dining room, and both are so small, that I can't see taking up any precious real estate with this.

If I had a much larger space, maybe, but even then, I'm not sure I see a lot of value in it for me for right now. For someone with mobility issues, getting down/bending down to clean up the floor, it might be great.

During one demonstration today, I noticed everything just clogged up in front and it didn't suck it up. They took the camera away quickly. I guess you have to 'feed' it in small amounts.

They were stuffing large quantities of "demo junk" down there. Unless something goes terribly wrong, I never have that much stuff to sweep up.

I don't think it will eliminate the need for a dustpan entirely, but I think it would get most things. If I spell a box of spagetti on the floor, there's no way that pasta is getting in there unless I stomp it into bits first.

This is the kind of item I think can go in a corner where it's less likely to get in the way and isn't in the path of traffic.

@SilleeMeeI ordered , hopefully will like it as much as some of the reviewers. I have excruciating knee and back pain making bending over a dustpan difficult., . I do have a dustpan with the long handle that prevents you from bending, but it is kind of cumbersome emptying it over the trash can. Hope the eyevac works well and is beneficial to me. That was a nice gesture on your part to order it for your friend.
