Has anyone else ever bought Coretec from a supplier other than Coretec? I am also looking at LVP and found one I like at Coretec however it's 5.49/sq ft on their site and 3.99 on the site where I got the sample (and all other non-Coretec sites). I'm concerned about the price difference and not sure if I want to take the risk of ordering. I am not willing to spend 5.49/sq ft on vinyl.

You all have helped me in the past with trying to decide...... after numerous samples and gathering info,I am torn between Hampton Hardwood engineered in Honey Birch and Coretec luxury River oak... Please help me decide.i have 2 dogs but they have never been a problem.

                                                   TIA. Lexi

I’m sure if you provided links to view each of these choices you’d get a lot of responses. I tried to find “Hampton Hardwood engineered in Honey Birch”, exactly as you wrote it and I couldn’t find it.

I’d love to help but I can’t see these to compare. Can you give a website to view these?

The first big qustion. Do you have pets or grandchildten thst come around a lot.l? What kind of a beating will it take. The cotec will be scratch proof and water proof. The hardwood may scratch more easily.

The honey birch looks dark if I found the right one. The darker the floor the more it shows dirt. I would go with the cortex. It will stay very nice for s super long time. And is very durable.

They both seem to be a dark tone. The Coratec is waterproof and from what I gather is luxury vinyl tile. The engineered wood would be like regular wood. Depending upon what rooms you would be putting the flooring in, if you are dealing with a room like a kitchen or bathroom, I would go with the Coratec. With the dogs, I think the Coratec would be a better choice, also.

I had a walnut colored laminate installed in my foyer/hallway area a few years ago. Right away I wished I had gone with a lighter color. Since I have a cat and a dog, it shows all the pet hair.

Thank you all, Today,I happened into Costco and they had a rep there offering a 15% rebate on their flooring which now includes Coretec!!!I was sooo surprised and happy, and will go with them. I agree, that the one I chose may be too light and have time to go a little lighter. By the way,in addition to the rebate the total cost was about 800.00 less....
