For those who have ordered from "Shelley B Home"

I placed an order several days ago and have gotten no confirmation of the order I placed over the phone. I called back up hours later and asked for a confirmation e-mail just of the order, not expecting it to have been shipped at that very moment.

I never placed an order without receiving some sort of confirmation from any online seller/company before this. I tried calling several times and all I can do is leave a message. I wrote an e-mail 3 days ago and no response. Not a good sign...

I know a storm passed through, but there are no power outages there.

I just left a message on both phone # 's...I can't help being uneasy since I gave all my CC info.

Not very happy right now...should I be worried?

I have ordered from her many times with no problems. She is a "friend" on Facebook and sells on eBay with sales happening as of yesterday.

Why would you place an order over the phone? Did you actually speak to someone? I never ever give my credit card info over the phone!

Just contact your credit card company and see if it has gone through...if not, cancel the transaction and place the order online.

I just spoke with her and cancelled my order.Others may have had good experience, but I sure didn't. There are many other bird decor items I can get similar, or even better and less expensive...no loss from my end...just a lesson learned

I always try and order over the phone when I can and never had issues before. I also had my CC make sure I don't get charged.

When I have great experiences with a seller/company, I share with others...not this time.

It's kinda like having an EBay buyer experience with a seller who has a 99.+% positive rating...I was one of the 1% who got the shaft...so to speak. It happens to everyone at some point in time...

DH doesn't do business with EBay sellers who have less than 100% positive rating...and I won't either...anymore. Learned lessons there too!!!

Actually she has a 99.5% rating out of almost 8,000 transactions and is a Top Seller. I would not hesitate to order from her.

Possibly if you hadn't just given out your credit card info to a total stranger, you might not have been so panicked. Ordering online generates an automatic email response for a paper trail and peace of mind....but to each his own.

I have had bad experiences on EBay with sellers who have sold more with a rating of 99.8%, and I still had a bad experience. So to me, #'s don't always speak volumes to me.

You are correct, to each his own and I learned not to do business with that seller again. I am grateful I didn't lose any money. DH thought I was smart to call the CC Co up too. Some folks you just can't trust.

Wow! So nice of you to slam a great seller by insinuating she's not trustful because you didn't get an email confirming an order you placed over the phone! You act like she took your money and ran.

I think Shelley B is a reputable resource for buying home decor items. She has been around for a long time now, and is not a fly by night company. The reason I say that is, when a company like Shelly B wants to purchase from Raz Imports- opening orders are a minimum of $500 and reorders are $250. You have to have some ongoing business to bring money in to afford to order from them. I still have a vendors license from when I had my business- but I could not afford to order from Raz for my own use because of the high opening and reorder minimums.

If I were to guess- she is just slow to send confirmation on orders placed over the phone- maybe she doesn't even send confirmation via email for phone orders.

I have ordered stuff from her on ebay and it was fine. Never had a problem with her at all.

So when you spoke to her, what did she say? I am sure your stuff would have shipped and I don't see the need to have cancelled an order over not getting a confirmation number, but I guess you did what you felt you needed to do.......

my guess why you didnt get a confirmation number was because it was a phone order. It is not like an automated on-line order when you get a confirmation sent to your email box right away.

I stand my ground on how things were handled with me. I am sure others have had good business transactions with this seller, but not me.

Additionally, I will say it again...

MANY others have had bad experience with sellers on EBay and other companies too with those with high ratings. I am not the only one considering the rating not being 99.9999999999....%. I happened to be one of more than a few who had problems with this seller.

DH and I will not do business with any sellers on EBay who have less than a 100% rating again. We don't need anything that bad to take risks or have problems/disputes anymore.

I shared my experience...period.

I am not sure why you would think that just because a seller on eBay who has 100% couldn't have problems. You could be the start of a downhill trend. You just never know. There are no guarantees - ever. And that seems to be what you are looking for. But yes, to each their own. Good luck!
