Does anyone own any of the Wilton armetale serving pieces? I own the real pewter by Woodbury (made in Connecticut) but just received someones registary and Wilton has some nice pieces She registered for the Flutes and Pearls

I had a few pieces but I like Arthur Court much better.

I received some Wilton pewter pieces when I got married 36 years ago. I still use them for the holidays.

I have a lot of Wilton Armetale, large chargers that I sometimes put under dinner plates, and a lot of serving plates and platters. I have had them for over 30 years and they have held up beautifully, granted they are only used a few times a year. They look like new. Any signs of wear just add to their patina, like real pewter, I would suspect.

I didn't know they still made them, because I never see them anywhere, and you never hear about them, but I really liked them years ago, and still do. I purchased them from the Wilton outlet, someplace near York PA.

If you get them, don't put them in a dishwasher. My husband did this accidentally, and they can become discolored and lose their shine in the dishwasher.

I know the pieces you are talking about and love those. I have goblets and some other colonial type pieces by Woodbury - wih I had bought what you have years ago. The pattern the bride picked out is very nice-of course this seems to be made partially in China now not Pa but have gotten high reviews on Macys. Dillard and Belk. Think I'll buy her some-thanks for your input
