I have a couple of her items on my wish list. I am not sure the videos of these items show the real deal or if it is how they are coming across on TV. Any forum friends here who have these items & your thoughts as well? Item# M51954 & #M55963 TIA!

I was wondering the same thing. My concern is do they collect dust? Are they really outdoor or do they collect mold, etc.? I really like the look of them and I like the look of the color changing. Battery life is not stated too often. That's always a concern of mine.

@Fressa, did you watch the video presentations? I love morphing, but I didn’t like how the morphing looked. Even in the warm mode, the lighting didn’t look consistent. Not sure if is the TV or how it actually is.

I did watch the video and I remember seeing this on air last garden season. This item is that "something different" that I'm always searching for to finish off the room, etc. I want to put it in my family room but I hestitate if this is going to eat batteries or be a nightmare to keep clean. I have a semi open floor plan and between the patio doors, fireplace, dogs, etc. I need items that can dusted. They look so nice but I'm trying to be careful with the battery operated items that I purchase. Thanks for your comments.

I've been on the fence about a lot of these sandstone items, too. I wouldn't worry about them getting dusty. They are indoor/outdoor, so you can always rinse them off in the sink.

I don't have either of those items, but I do have this from last year as-is. I don't use it with batteries, just as a decorative piece. I blow it off with the hair dryer every once in a while, but it doesn't really show dust. I use it inside so I cannot speak to outside use.

@Fressa, @TenderMercies, @Marsha2003, I looooove this beautiful statement piece! The shell is a substantial size, the morphing integrates the different colors adding to the charm of this! This is a home run for me for my coastal decor! The dust issue would be the least of my worries. I am going to order more of Barbara King’s sandstone items!

I couldn't resist andy longer and ordered the lotus flower set. They are beautiful! There is a cover on the bottom to protect the battery case if you do use them outside. There seems to be a coating or smoothness to the outside of the candle. This answeres my mainatanece question. I have other stone pieces and some of them are rough to the touch. The lotus candles are a nice size. Hope this helps some of you decide.

@Fressa, Me too! I just ordered the Lotus, but I am still on the fence with the Butterfly. The Shell is a substantial piece, I want the Butterfly to be less but it is not. What to do, what to do...?!?
